My journey into bookkeeping came while working my second job to provide for my daughter. As a single mom, I committed myself to provide for her while remaining present and engaged. Thankfully, the CPA took me under her wing and introduced me to the world of bookkeeping. I went on to be mentored by three other CPAs throughout the years. These experiences were pivotal in developing my drive to help others who are just starting.
I learned so much about setting up and maintaining multiple business platforms, such as restaurants, construction, nursing homes, merchant services, sales, commissions, and inventory. I have many software packages I have been able to work on that effectively import into the accounting piece.

I’ll teach you how to set successful bookkeeping habits to reduce the overwhelm of this critical part of your business. I’ll set up your bookkeeping software, create a chart of accounts, and complete the prep work needed to present to your CPA for taxes.
Sure, I’m super gregarious and love to make things easy to do. Doing your bookkeeping is fun. It’s also time-consuming, stressful, and tricky to keep accurate. I can help you learn the ins and outs of what’s necessary to maintain your books, but is it really in your business’s best interest for you to pull yourself away from growing and serving?
Not at all. I’ll do my best to get everything in line for your end tax reporting, but depending on my client load, my CPA’s client load, and of course, the time it takes to reconcile everything, we may have to request a tax-filing extension.
